CHADRON – Practitioner-in-Residence Dr. Katherine Kral-O'Brien spoke about the symbiotic relationship between rangeland and pollinators in a presentation April 24 in the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center. Kral-O’Brien taught an eight-week class at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College this semester: Special Topics in AGRI: Pollinator Ecology (AGRI 460), funded by the Bill and Virginia Coffee Family Foundation Grant.

LINCOLN – Governor Pete Ricketts has appointed Sam Klammer of Juniata, Nebraska, Kayla Myers of Sidney, Iowa, and Ashley VanMeeteren of Yankton, South Dakota, to serve as student representatives on the Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees during the 2019-20 academic year.

CHADRON – Graduating ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College seniors who have distinguished themselves through excellence in their academic degree programs, service, or extracurricular activities during their college careers will be recognized at Ivy Day Friday. The event, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall, is free and open to the public.

SEWARD, Neb. – The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College student newspaper, “The Eagle,” won its eighth straight Best Overall Newspaper title in the Nebraska Collegiate Media Association’s (NCMA) annual Golden Leaf Awards April 20, at Concordia University in Seward.
