CHADRON – Three families – Bunch-Lingelbach, Epp and Neubauer families – were honored for attending ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College during Homecoming. Each family includes three generations of graduates. At least two of the family members in each family have records of outstanding service to the college, the alumni association, their communities and professions.

CHADRON – A former research chemist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who died in March left more than $1 million dollars for an endowment that will provide scholarships for students at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College.

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Homecoming royalty were crowned Wednesday in the Student Center Ballroom. The queen is Kimberly Hernandez of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and the king is Devin Fulton of Glenrock, Wyoming.

CHADRON – Bryony Trump’s solo clarinet recital Sunday, Sept. 30, at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College will be more than fulfilling a graduation requirement. Her performance will also represent months of recovery from a rollover accident north of her home in Sterling, Colorado. Trump’s recital will be at 3 p.m. in the Mari Sandoz High Plain Heritage Center’s Chicoine Atrium.

CHADRON – Two ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College graduates from the 1980s, Judge Russell W. Harford of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç and Dr. James Jaggers of Aurora, Colorado, will be honored for achievements in their professions and demonstrating service to the college with the CSC Distinguished Alumni Award at a luncheon Saturday during the college’s Homecoming activities. Distinguished Young Alumni Awards will also be presented at the luncheon.
