CHADRON –The Big Event staff at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College conducted its inaugural Mini Big Event Thursday, Nov. 15, in ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ. Eleven members of The Big Event staff, including nine students, graduate assistant Kelsey Brummels and Faculty Adviser Dr. Shaunda French-Collins, volunteered and completed five jobsites in three hours.

CHADRON – The Eagle Ridge student housing project has won a Nebraska Honor award, the highest level offered by the American Institute of Architects. This is the second award for a ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College project designed by BVH Architecture of Lincoln. The Rangeland Lab won in April 2017.

CHADRON – Students from 16 Nebraska high schools competed Wednesday in the annual District 12 National FFA Organization Leadership Contest at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College, the site of the competition for 14 years. CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Senior Thesis Art Show, “A Look Into the Sublime,” opens Monday in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery. CHADRON – The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Social Work annual conference, started in 2008, has received two $10,000 gifts from an anonymous donor, according to Social Work professor Bruce Hoem. In addition, the donor has invested $30,000 in an endowed scholarship for social work majors.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College is sponsoring Ramsey Solutions’ Foundations in Personal Finance curriculum in 19 high schools across Nebraska, Colorado and South Dakota. Foundations in Personal Finance is a curriculum for teaching financial literacy to students.
