CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Mathematics Professor Dr. Beth Wentworth recently received the Milton W. Beckman Lifetime Achievement Award at the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Mathematics (NATM) annual conference in Kearney. The NATM board established the award in 1989 to honor outstanding educators who have spent their careers working to improve mathematics education in Nebraska.

LINCOLN – The Nebraska State College System (NSCS) is requesting state funding in support of a single strategic initiative, NebraskaFWD (Future Workforce Development). NebraskaFWD focuses on investing in the workforce needs of rural Nebraska by developing a qualified workforce for high-need occupations throughout the state, expanding student access to higher education; and increasing college affordability and decreasing student debt.
