CHADRON -- Fran Grimes and Rick Kolkman will each receive the Distinguished Service Award from ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College during the 2023 Homecoming festivities Oct. 7. The award is given to friends of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College who have demonstrated exceptional service to the college through their volunteer or leadership efforts.

CHADRON – The Hastings family is a recipient of the Family Tree Award. The award is presented annually to families with a tradition of attending CSC. The recipient family must include a minimum of three generations of graduates. At least two of the family members must have a record of outstanding service to the college, the alumni association, their community, or their profession.

CHADRON – Associate Professor of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Dr. Britt Helmbrecht unveiled the Campus Wellness program in a message to campus Sept. 21. She said the program is intended to prioritize well-being and foster the abilities of students to achieve optimal health by providing and promoting strategic wellness activities.
