CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Rocket League Black won the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) championship game against Ohio Northern University Thursday. The team finished the season undefeated in the EAST 12B Conference Champion III division playing against Sam Houston State University, Florida International University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, Drexel University, Grand Valley State University, and Northern Michigan University.

LINCOLN – The Nebraska State College System (NSCS) announced Laurel Kreifels, School Counselor at Conestoga Public Schools in Murray, Nebraska, is the recipient of the 2023 NSCS Counseling Excellence Award. CHADRON – Fourteen teams of volunteers with the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State Foundation’s Fall Fund Drive raised a total of $106,227 from donors and supporters of CSC. Sixty-seven volunteers canvassed the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College campus and surrounding communities in October and gathered at the Bean Broker Nov. 16 to celebrate.

CHADRON – Dr. Jim Powell, ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, announced Friday he plans to retire in June 2024. Powell has worked as an administrator at the college since 2015.
