CHADRON – Dr. Ron K. Patterson has announced his intent to resign as ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s President to become the next President of Murray State University. Murray State University’s Board of Regents made the announcement during a public meeting Monday.

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College has announced students accepted into the Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) pathway for Fall 2025. These students join what Dr. Joyce Hardy, Interim Dean of the School of Business, Mathematics, and Sciences, describes as a vibrant and collaborative learning community at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State.

CHADRON – March is designated as ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Advising Month. Summer 2025 enrollment opens on Monday, March 24 for all students. Fall 2025 enrollment also begins on Monday, March 24 for graduate, post-baccalaureate, and ROTC students. Seniors can enroll starting Tuesday, March 25, juniors on Wednesday, March 26, sophomores on Thursday, March 27, and freshmen on Friday, March 28.

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College will offer an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree in Mental Health and Addictions starting in Fall 2025. The online program will advance student opportunities, offering school counselors the chance to fulfill requirements toward becoming a Nebraska Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) or a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).

CHADRON – The Spring 2025 ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Senior Art Show features work by Angelyse Liliana Perez and Hannah Wohl. The show opens in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery Monday, March 24 and will close April 11. The public is invited to a reception April 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Memorial Hall. Hours for the gallery are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CHADRON – Dr. Derry Ebert, a veteran administrator with more than 30 years of experience in higher education, has been named ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Vice President for Enrollment Management. Ebert, who is the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, begins at CSC May 1.
