CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College will host its 59th Scholastic Contest Nov. 9. Chair of the committee, Caitlin Roes, said 32 high schools and 900 students are registered for the long-standing tradition, usually hosted on campus in the spring.

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Mathematics Associate Professor Dr. Jung Colen presented at the 2022 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Research Conference in Los Angeles Sept. 28-29. She presented a study she conducted with her husband, Dr. Yong S. Colen, a mathematics education professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

LINCOLN – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College President Randy Rhine announced today he will retire in June 2023 after completing 18 years of service to the College and Nebraska. During his 10 years as president of the institution, Dr. Rhine has seen remarkable growth and improvements at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College.

CHADRON – A new ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College club, Familia, is designed to welcome native Spanish speakers as well as those at all levels of learning the language. CHADRON – The senior class in Social Work at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College will host nationally known author Barbara Rubel as the keynote speaker for The Truth in Trauma and Trauma Informed Practices, a free conference Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center.
