CHADRON – Two hundred and seventeen ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College candidates for undergraduate degrees and 58 candidates for graduate degrees will be honored in the Chicoine Center Saturday at 10 a.m. The commencement ceremony will be streamed online and on the video board in Beebe Stadium.

CHADRON – Demoine Adams, the Chief Executive Officer for Teammates Mentoring which serves more than 20,000 students in Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Wyoming, recently spoke at the Graves Lecture Series April 12.

CHADRON -- Particularly among the Spring 2023 graduates, it may be almost impossible for anyone to have longer, stronger ties with ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College than Mickey Douglas. Those ties even go back to the old ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Congregational Academy that closed in 1910 but was in the same general location where the college has operated since the following year.

CHADRON – The twelfth president of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College, Dr. Ron K. Patterson, was announced Tuesday to a standing ovation at an all-campus meeting in the Student Center. He will take office July 1.

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Students majoring in Health Professions were recognized at an annual banquet April 13 at Country Kitchen. CSC graduate and Physician Assistant Ian Ahrens spoke at the event. He shared his experiences from professional school which included trying to keep up with courses during the pandemic and transferring when the out-of-state school he was attending voluntarily withdrew from being accredited.
