Campus closes Monday night, reopens with late start on Wednesday

(Updated 2/8/2025) CHADRON -- Due to the current winter storm and extreme cold warning, the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College campus will close Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at 9 p.m. and remain closed until Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at 11 a.m.

The residence halls and dining services will remain open.

According to the National Weather Service, an extreme cold warning is in effect for the city of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç and surrounding areas beginning Monday evening at 10 p.m. The warning expires Thursday at 11 a.m. Monday wind chills may be as low as negative 35 degrees. The National Weather Service recommends if individuals must go outside, they dress in layers, including a hat, face mask, and gloves.
