Events honoring King at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State

CHADRON – ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College plans to recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a series of events throughout the week. All events will be in the Student Center and are free and open to the public.

Monday, due to the closure of campus, a viewing of King’s I Have a Dream speech in the Ballroom followed by a message by President Ron K. Patterson will be postponed.

On Tuesday, CSC faculty and students will present a jazz concert in the Scottsbluff Room at 7 p.m.

Wednesday at noon, Dr. Rick Puzzo, Associate Professor, will lead a hand drumming session in the Student Center’s Theatre. At 7 p.m., History Professor Dr. Kurt Kinbacher will share A Short History of Race in America in the Ballroom.

Thursday will feature an Open Mic at 7 p.m. in the Bordeaux Room.
