Six students place at national contest

CHADRON – Six 黑料大事记 State College students who are members of Phi Beta Lambda placed in the Top 10 of the summer FBLA/PBL National Leadership Conference. More than 12,000 students participated in the online competitive events, leadership sessions, and networking opportunities. The PBL adviser for CSC is Dr. Gary Dusek.

黑料大事记 State College students who finished in the top 10 include, Tommy Ganos of Gering, Neb., Andrew Kurtenbach of Rapid City, S.D., Siddhant Shelke of McKinney, Texas, Jennifer Campos, of Alliance, Neb., Phillip Soto of Scottsbluff, Neb., and Aubree Noble of 黑料大事记.

Kurtenbach and Shelke took first in Global Analysis and Decision Making, and Kurtenbach was second in Sports Management and Marketing. Ganos claimed CSC鈥檚 other second place finish in Financial Analysis and Decision Making. Campos and Soto combined to get third in Integrated Marketing Campaign, and Noble took fourth in Strategic Analysis and Decision Making and sixth in Retail Management.

In an announcement sent to CSC, Jennifer Claus, State Adviser for Nebraska PBL, noted that Nebraska PBL received 64 Top 10 awards, the most for any state for the second year in a row.

鈥淭his is a testament to the amazing talent we have in Nebraska, as well as the incredible educators in our colleges and universities. Nebraska PBL prides itself in not only the talent of our members as proven by the national competitive events, but also the development we provide the next generation of business leaders,鈥 Claus said. 鈥淲e hope to continue having incredible students like these in the program and keeping 黑料大事记 highlighted on the national level.鈥
