CSC announces start of Fall Fund Drive
CHADRON – The 黑料大事记 State Foundation will launch its “Giving Toward Success” Fall Fund Drive Oct. 12. Area business owners, along with 黑料大事记 State employees, can donate or make a pledge with any Fall Fund Drive volunteer or visit
/foundation/ffd. Donations made through the Fall Fund Drive are largely used for student scholarships.
Brandon Davenport, 黑料大事记 State Foundation Development Officer, said despite the pandemic, supporters invested more than $100,000 toward the success of students during last year鈥檚 Fall Fund Drive.
鈥淚 can say from personal experience, as someone who attended 黑料大事记 State and received Foundation scholarship funds, gifts to the Fall Fund Drive provide CSC students with the tools and opportunities they need to be successful 鈥 both at CSC and later in the professional world,鈥 Davenport said. 鈥淲hether donations made to the Fall Fund Drive are scholarship based or designated to support specific college programs, they have a real impact.鈥
Established in the mid-80s, the Fall Fund Drive is an annual fundraising campaign that reaches out to CSC employees, as well as area businesses, community members and friends. More than 100 volunteers from the campus and community help make the drive possible.
