黑料大事记 State Foundation wraps up another successful Fall Fund Drive

CHADRON – The 黑料大事记 State Foundation’s annual Fall Fund Drive raised $202,534 toward student scholarships and college programs at 黑料大事记 State College.
Brandon Davenport, Foundation Development Officer, said the efforts of everyone involved was fantastic.
鈥淐SC faculty and staff, and members of the community really came through this year. To break the $200,000 mark was fantastic,鈥 he said. 鈥淭he scholarships and departmental support provided by this year鈥檚 Fall Fund Drive will have a lasting impact and we owe that to our Fall Fund Drive volunteers and this amazing community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this year鈥檚 success possible.鈥
More than 100 volunteers on 10 campus teams and nine teams of volunteers from the community, took part in this year鈥檚 Fall Fund Drive. Campus Co-Chairs Shaunda French-Collins and Tena Cook, along with Community Co-Chairs Trisha Martens and Bobby Griese, led the volunteers.
Each year a campus and a community team are named as the winning teams based on a point system. The winning campus team consisted of Rob Stack, Cassie Ritzen, John Ritzen, Lorie Hunn, Jordan Haas, and Willie Hoffman. The team of Jim Gardner, Vince Ryan, Julie Duncan, Eliza Hare, and Tyler McCarthy won in the community category.
Winners were announced during the Foundation鈥檚 annual Fall Fund Drive Victory Party Nov. 18. During the event, Hunn and Brenda Morford were recognized as the drive鈥檚 top individual volunteers from the campus and community teams, respectively.
The 2021 Fund Drive theme, Giving Toward Success, and accompanying artwork were created by Kyle Rayl, Emily Hansen, and Paige Seidler while enrolled in French-Collins鈥檚 Communication Campaigns (CA 450) course during the Fall 2020 semester.
