Campus Notice: Sexual assault [5:45 p.m. 10/08/14]
ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing and Student Services Jon Hansen has issued a notice to the campus community regarding a reported sexual assault on the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College campus during the evening hours of Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014.
On Tuesday, Oct. 7, a female student reported to the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Police Department that she was allegedly sexually assaulted in a room in Andrews Hall. The alleged perpetrator is in custody. There is no continuing threat to ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State's campus. Should circumstances warrant, additional notices will be provided.
The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Police Department and ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College are cooperating in the investigation.
ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College reminds students and the campus community to report any suspicious activity immediately to Campus Security by calling 308-432-6037. Individuals with information about the incident should contact the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Police Department at 308-432-0510 or ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College's Title IX Coordinator, Shelley Dunbar, at 308-432-6224.
