ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç bands joining for concert
About 200 student-instrumentalists will gather at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College this week for the combined concert of the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Wind Symphony and the bands of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç High School and ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Middle School.
The free concert will be Thursday, March 22, at the CSC Memorial Hall Auditorium. It will begin at 7 p.m., contrary to the time listed on some publicity materials.
The concert will feature a variety of music from the three groups, which are under the direction of Dr. Adam Lambert of the CSC music faculty and Joe Rischling of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Public Schools.
The groups consist of about 150 students in fifth through 12th grades, and the 45 members of the Wind Symphony. Lambert said that the groups will play a combined number, in addition to performing individually.
