On your marks, get set, boo!
Participants of an event at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College may be running scared this week -- or, at least running amused.
The Haunted Trails Run, a 5k event for runners and walkers, will be Thursday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m. Registration is set 30 minutes before the race at the Nelson Physical Activity Center. A variety of prizes will be awarded, including those for the scariest, funniest and most original costumes.
The event has a $10 registration fee with proceeds going toward the CSC Health, Physical Education and Recreation Club. The ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Community Recreation Program is joining the HPER Club in sponsoring the race.
