ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College is again seeking children in second grade through sixth grade to participate in the TrebleMakers music program.

The group meets Thursday afternoons 4-5 p.m. in room 104 of CSC's Memorial Hall. Class will meet for 11 weeks each semester, from Sept. 9 through Nov. 18, and Jan. 27 through April 14.
Una Taylor, ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College assistant professor of music, formed the TrebleMakers two years ago. She said the TrebleMakers program is designed to offer a fun and educational musical experience for children in the elementary grades. "The goal is to foster a love of music and of singing as well as develop musical literacy through songs, dances and games appropriate for young children," Taylor said.
The TrebleMakers will host a "Parent Day" on the last day of class, April 14. The participation fee is $40 per semester, but interested children may attend the first meeting, Sept. 10, without obligation. Siblings may enroll for $20 per semester. Prospective members may attend the first week without obligation. More information and registration materials are available by contacting either Taylor at 308-432-6484, mail to: utaylor@csc.edu  taylor@csc.edu or Judy Rutter at 308-432-6375 mailto:jrutter@csc.edujrutter@csc.edu. Registration materials also will be available at the first class session.
