Justice studies students to present research
Honors students from the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College Justice Studies Department will present research during the fifth annual Academic Showcase on Monday, Dec. 6. The event will be 6-7:30 p.m. at the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center.
The three student groups will present research about their respective topics. Following are the students and their projects:
“Cheers: A Study of the Influence of Alcohol on a College Campus” – Shawna Brown, Rapid City, S.D.; Adam Burling, Powell, Wyo.; Rebecca Chasek, ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ; Amy Jo Janssen, Gordon; and Kelsey Weber, Rapid City, S.D.
“Perceptions of Firearms on Campus” – Kylie Kindred, Morrill; Katrina Mundt, Hemingford; John Sandlian, Torrington, Wyo.; and Mathew Templar, Torrington, Wyo..
“Legalization of Marijuana: A College’s Perspective” – Raymond Doud, Rapid City, S.D.; Lynette Ebert, Rosthern, Saskatchewan; Dean Fankhauser, ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ; Mathew McNeil, ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ; Jessica Roit, Ohiowa; and Kelsey Warren, Rawlins, Wyo.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
