Poetry, other activities scheduled for Scream Slam

The Sigma Tau Delta English honor society and the Game Players Association at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College will host the Scream Slam on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Student Center.

The event will start at 7 p.m. with pumpkin-carving. Beginning at 8 p.m. will be poetry readings and musical displays focusing on the Halloween theme. Everyone is welcomed to participate. Costumes are appreciated.

Other activities include video games, board games, crafts and face-painting. CSC dining services will prepare food. There will also be a caramel apple dipping fountain.

Prizes, ranging from Halloween decorations to gift certificates, will be awarded from drawings throughout the night and everyone will have a chance to win the grand prize.
