Geologist to speak about research experiences
The Graves Lecture Series at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College's Reta King Library continues Tuesday, March 17, with Jennifer Balmat's presentation, “Between a Rock and a Hard Spot: A Geologist's Journey Through the Hazards in Northwest Nebraska.”
Balmat is a CSC graduate assistant who has completed extensive geological research in the region, including the areas of Toadstool Park and ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Creek.
The event begins at 7p.m. in room 108 and is open to the public free of charge. Refreshments will be served.
