International Education Week celebrated

ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College, which has students from 18 countries enrolled, is celebrating International Education Week, Nov. 17-21.
is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
To mark the event, CSC are presenting in classrooms of the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç public schools. They also are speaking in the Student Center each night through Thursday. Each nightly presentation is open to the public free of charge and begins at 7 p.m. Countries included in the presentations are Armenia, Russia, Ecuador and Burma.
The CSC dining service also helping promote the international atmosphere by preparing a variety of ethnic foods in the CSC cafeteria for lunch.
To conclude the week's festivities, people are invited to join CSC's international students at the Bean Broker in downtown ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç for a night of cultural exchange. The International Night celebration is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, following the CSC Powwow.
