Governor to visit ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ

Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman will meet constituents during a ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç visit Thursday (April 28). The hour-long session, which is open to the public, will be at the Chicoine Atrium of ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College’s Sandoz Center beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Heineman also will be the keynote speaker at the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç High School Kiwanis Honors Program at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and will address the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Rotary Club at noon.

Heineman was sworn in as governor Jan. 21 after Mike Johanns left that post to become U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. Prior to becoming the state’s 39th governor, Heineman served more than three years as lieutenant governor, having been appointed in October 2001 and elected to a new four-year term in November 2002.
