Welcome to New Faculty Orientation
Welcome to ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College
New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is a year-long program designed to support new faculty as they transition into teaching, advising, and serving at CSC. Through orientation sessions, professional development opportunities, classroom observations, and campus partnerships, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
Whether you are beginning your first faculty position or joining CSC after teaching elsewhere, NFO provides opportunities to learn about campus resources, connect with colleagues, and develop effective practices for supporting student success.
Throughout the program, faculty will explore topics including teaching and learning, advising, student support services, accessibility, promotion and tenure, campus engagement, and professional growth.
We are excited to welcome you to the CSC community and look forward to supporting you throughout your first year.
