Brief description of duties: • Follow up on music equipment check-in/check-out paperwork • Assist Accompanist and/or Office Assistant with proofreading, copying, and/or folding Music Event Programs while following the Memorial Hall Event Poster/Program Protocol • Greet patrons to Music events, welcoming them to the event and Memorial Hall while answering any questions/concerns they may have • Updating and/or designing Music Department bulletin boards • Assist with the preparation and execution of the annual High Plains Band & Choir Festival, CSC College Musician for a Day, Tenor/Bass or Soprano/Alto Day, and All-State Choir Preparation Day.

Position Title: Student Media Ambassador
Seeking: Departmental (100% Department funded)
Department: TLPEC

Brief description of duties: The Student Media Ambassador serves as on-camera talent for educational, training, and promotional media projects developed by ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College. Students in this role perform speaking and non-speaking parts in video productions related to topics such as FERPA, hazing prevention, student success, accessibility, technology training, and other campus initiatives. Student Media Ambassadors represent the student perspective in campus projects and may also participate in focus groups, usability testing, and feedback activities that help improve services, training materials, and educational resources.

  • Perform on-camera speaking and non-speaking roles in video productions. • Participate in educational, training, and promotional video projects. • Attend scheduled filming sessions and project meetings as needed. • Follow scripts, production directions, and project requirements. • Represent ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College in training and educational media. • Participate in focus groups, usability testing, and student feedback activities when requested. • Provide student perspectives on instructional materials and campus initiatives. • Maintain professionalism and reliability when participating in assigned projects. • Maintain confidentiality when participating in projects involving institutional information. Must be willing to sign a media release authorizing ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College to use recorded image, voice, and likeness for educational, training, promotional, and institutional purposes. Number of hours per week:Varies
