Accessing Counseling & Medical Services

ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College contracts an on-campus nurse (Crites Hall 337) through the to serve all enrolled students, free of additional charge. The nurse is available when classes are in session and will assess students on a first come, first serve basis. Students may be referred to the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Medical Clinic to see a provider at no additional cost. Tests, scans, and additional procedures at the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç Medical Clinic may incur a cost or insurance claims.

  • Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Jessaca Denke is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 25 years of nursing experience, currently specializing in college triage nursing and Medicare transition-of-care coordination. Her background also includes labor and delivery, level III nursery care, and clinical pediatrics, providing her with a strong foundation in compassionate, patient-centered care.

Known for her calm and compassionate approach, Jessaca has spent her career supporting patients through important and vulnerable moments — from helping college students navigate healthcare while away from home to assisting patients through safe transitions after hospitalization. She believes the best care combines clinical knowledge with kindness, listening, and genuine human connection.

The CSC Campus Clinic Nurse provides treatments including

  • Albuterol treatments
  • Glucometer checks
  • Medical equipment loans (crutches, ice/hot packs, wheelchair, etc.)
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Scheduling doctor appointments when necessary
  • Staple and suture removal
  • Testing for COVID, Fever, Influenza, Mono, & Strep
  • Treatments for minor illnesses and injuries
  • Follow-up care 
  • Information about local health resources

Before your First Visit

Students under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian complete a Consent to Treat a Minor Form (PDF)
