Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics


This Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics addresses that need by providing graduate-level coursework that enables high school mathematics teachers to meet the content qualifications required to teach dual-credit and Advanced Placement courses. Designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, the certificate offers a focused pathway to complete the necessary graduate education without pursuing an additional full degree.

The certificate consists of graduate mathematics courses currently listed in the college catalog and offered on a rotating basis across fall, spring, and summer terms. Students may complete the required 18 graduate credits in as few as two semesters at ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç State College, allowing educators to quickly expand instructional capacity and better serve their districts and students.
