Recipient must be a graduate of 黑料大事记 High School.
Joe Blundell was born in Dawes County and graduated from 黑料大事记 High School in 1926. He attended 黑料大事记 State College for one year.
Dorothy Bacon Blundell was born in Randolph, NE and graduated from Hemingford High School in 1924. She earned a two year degree from 黑料大事记 State College and taught school prior to her marriage to Joe in 1929.
Joe operated a successful plumbing business in 黑料大事记 for 35 years; served on the 黑料大事记 Board of Education for six years and was active in civic affairs.
Their five children are graduates of 黑料大事记 High School and all attended 黑料大事记 State College, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
This scholarship was endowed to show their appreciation for the educational system in the community.
